Hey, it makes deflating their arguments funnier. Even more because I'm often criticized for my Italian-influenced grammar and yet I'm writing better...
So, why they would waste resources for an untried mining technology AND its repairbots when they already have efficient and reliable ones for their needs? Tell me.Darth Fanboy wrote:Ah but you ignor fact that UPF needs mining too maek defiants and datas to win war so exocomps.
Prove it. After all, there was just one Data on the Enterprise-D in that episode...Darth Fanboy wrote:But also in war Dr soong will join UPF an be a PARTIOT to help federation and build Android MACOs.
The Defiant started out as a colossal failure due her being overgunned and overpowered for her size, nearly toring herself apart (Sisko's words) during her shakedown cruise. After a lot of work, it was successful, but would the UFP have the resources to make the failure a success?Darth Fanboy wrote:Defiant not failer because it beet dominon
Then why they failed to do so in the Dominion War?Darth Fanboy wrote:Ah but UPF in battel culd do these they would try instead of peaseful exploring b e best starship battelers
They failed to even meet, in this timeline. In this timeline, Worf had been raised by Klingon to fight the Federation, not by humans to join Starfleet.Darth Fanboy wrote:Teh respeckt they had in origiial timline does not go away Worf help Picard leik his ansestor lawyer for Kirk.

That's because he still uses sentence structure, for all his bad spelling, whereas JasonB appears to plug his sentences into a tumble dryer.Eternal_Freedom wrote:What's worrying is that DF talking like a retarded 2 year old actually makes more sense than JasonB does...

That's being unecessarily kind to him. He writes like, well, a retarded two year old who put his writing into a blender.

Well, I don't know who of them writes worst, but is so bad I'm using my older dog as interpreter (she's easier to understand and has a gift for languages, at least in reading and understanding).
But they don't have the resources to spare.Darth Fanboy wrote:Becaz it is war so they will try it and it would be efficinter
Well, this is not a fanfic. But are you telling me there's just one man that's supposed to man the ship? There is a reason if the crews are so big...Darth Fanboy wrote:Only oen officer data per ship the rest are MACOs you dont see that is how it works in my fanfic
Because they had four years of time and resources to spare. Something they don't have in this timeline.Darth Fanboy wrote:Oh yeqah then why it beat dominion
And that explains how they failed to use clone armies in the Dominion War HOW?Darth Fanboy wrote:They not fail UPF win becaues better and smaretr and tuffer
They'd be 'worthy enemies' at best: Worf and Picard don't have Guinan's abilities. And The Otrageous Okona is just the episode where we have a Han Solo wannabee in Star Trek.Darth Fanboy wrote:But when they oen day do meet it will be like they had known each oter for longst time and Worf will know wat is rite. An exocomp just learn how to solve things. Exactly how I learned how to write decently in English. Are you saying I evolved?Darth Fanboy wrote:Hahahaha you must haev got up for POPCORNS during part where exocomps evolver. They do go watch again.
I repeat, why should he do that when he's too busy fighting the overwhelming Klingon fleets?Darth Fanboy wrote:He talk bout Gigamesh and then they frends
Section 31 first appeared in Inquisition, AFTER The Way of the Warrior. Also, fanfics are not canon, or the Romulans would refer to themselves as Rihannsu on-screen.Darth Fanboy wrote:Esept that in war section 31 can do watever we dont see it all but it is there and all my fanfic is from D9S way of teh warrior is skrpit must be true.

Have we ever seen non-naval (modern day) ranks in TNG Trek though? Pretty much everybody is something a modern day navy would have (from Ensign to Admiral, with the occasional Yeoman thrown in).

Wasn't West described as being from special operations or somesuch? Maybe the "Colonel" rank is a traditional holdover from the odl days, maybe even the MACO's.

Re: Yesterday's Enterpise: Why were the Klingons winning?
The DS9 relaunch books dealt with this after Bajor joined.Destructionator XIII wrote:I do wonder what would have happened when Bajor joined up though. Would Major Kira still be a major once the militia is integrated with Starfleet (which the admiral said would happen, the integration)? Or would she be appointed to a new rank? Or automatically carry into a Lt Commander or whatever like she did in the last episode?
IIRC, the Militia is integrated into Starfleet, but allowed a large degree of autonomy in planetary security -- like Vulcan's V'Shar security department. Those wishing to transfer into Starfleet Security are trained and given the equivalent ranks.
Kira is given the commission of Captain and retains command of DS9 and the Defiant-A.
Re: Yesterday's Enterpise: Why were the Klingons winning?
Then where were the normal foot soldiers? After all, the Federation Security on AR-558 did an AWFUL job.
I hate put it this way but they did very effective job before Sisko and team arrive. 150 in 6 month able kill 107. Mine decloaking at least kill few UFP personal. Guessing one major fire fight happen every week lost something 2 soldiers a week. I personal believe ran out supplied mortar shells in something like 90 days . Also Sisko tactic seem put engineering crew and good doctor on fortlines we only see two UFP soldier fighting . One took few Jem Harder using phaser rifle as weapon before he get stab in the back other seem to have done fine job with his knife killing Jem Harder soldiers.

While I have to agree he did do a magnificent job of aping JasonB's complete and utter lack of understanding the rules of the english language it got boring by about the third post. Everybody knows he's just aping JasonB, JasonB isn't going to get it anyway, so what's the point? Other than personal amusement, I guess, of which he should have gotten plenty

It's exactly as you say Necronlord, which is why my past efforts to ape JasonB have been geared towards drawing light to the problem that is Jason's posting, although I can't be sure if there isn't a legit disability at work and i'm being sincere, but i've been around him posting for a year now on the redone ASVS site and its strange no matter what the explanation is.
I never dreamed that someone would be so much of an oblivious tryhard to actually attempt to debate me doing this thinking it was sincere, it was an amazing run though. I thought for sure that using a nonexistent fanfic as a canon reference would put the nail in the coffin.

Re: Yesterday's Enterpise: Why were the Klingons winning?
JasonB already does that with every single post he unloads here. I have really a hard time assessing just what that guy's problem is. His posts reek of someone who doesn't speak English and is exclusively using babelfish or google translate but he's supposedly a native English speaker. The other thing is that he never actually debates anything, he just presents whatever mangled ideas are floating in his head, repeats it a few times if challenged and then moves on to the next topic. It seems he just regards this forum as his personal soapbox.Darth Fanboy wrote:[...]which is why my past efforts to ape JasonB have been geared towards drawing light to the problem that is Jason's posting[...]

Metahive, Enigma and I have been warning everyone that's what this guy does since he first signed up, as I said we have prior experience. Thus far it has been exactly as I predicted. You restating the obvious like the dweeb you are is almost as bad as Martiya and his quest to "dabate star trek".
