Well, it seems that I am in charge of this corner of SD.net. Some might call it throwing a bone to the trekkies while others might see it as breaking through barriers. Personally I see it as hell having just frozen over.

Anyway, feels good to be a mod again. Yep, believe it or not I was once a mod at SB.com, but I learned the hard way that being a mod and threatening to kill members isn't the smartest thing.

Just keep it relatively clean and don't troll or act like an ass most of the time, and we should get along just fine. Just a little note. Any flames against another member that are not directly connected to a debate will be oppressed by me. That means no threads with the sole intent of flaming another memeber. Unless of course they are a troll, then its just fine by me.

You know, I'd have never believed it either before a few months ago, but there you are.

Ahem, three years. I joined in early Feburary of 2000. For all intents and purposes I have been there three years. I have the 3rd highest post count on the board and I once held the highest post count. Yes, it IS impressive. Not everyone who posts as frequently as Iggy or Verilon stays forever. My posts are that of an active and long time memeber who has contributed rather then spam.

Hell has frozen over. What other explanation could their be for the addition of a Star Trek fourm to SD.net?

Personally, I'm glad it exists. the vs forum goes through long periods of boring. I look at this as a way to corect this. This forum will essentially be a farm for us. People will come here, post for a while, become to smug and self assure, move in on the vs forum, and be harvested.

It's a wonderfully evil plan.
