How can...
The Miranda stay at warp without a deflector dish? I never really gave it much thought until I went to some site and they pointed that out.

The Miranda has two things protruding from either side of the upper structure on the saucer.Aya wrote:The Miranda stay at warp without a deflector dish? I never really gave it much thought until I went to some site and they pointed that out.

I suspect they are the deflector dishes. Another ship with this same "problem" of no deflector is the Constellation class.

It has a series of items on the bottom of its saucer and they may also take the place of the deflector dish.
