Rommies?

I'm not the most knowledgeable about Trek's history...
Will the Federation in Enterprise ever go to war with the romulans? I know that the two fight a fierce war...but I'm not sure that they've done it yet. I would love to see a war on Enterprise...my favorite part about Star Trek is the politics and stuff

The Earth Romulan war is about to happen at this time, but, knowing B&B they will ignore it and tell their "creative story".

I think it happens in the not so far future from Enterprise, but the Feds dont have a very large fleet quite yet. My only problem is that Enterprise seems like its capable of a it more than ToS led us to believe about Fed ships during that era.

EAS has some ships from that era as they should look.

What has Enterprise done in terms of TOS canon for the coming Earth-Romulan war.
Spock in Balance of Terrro tells us that:
The war was fought in primitive vessels without visual communication technology (Oppss...they have visual technology on Enterprise...I guess B&B just dropped a turd on that)
Using primtive nuclear wepaons (Enterprise: Phase canons hmmmm...looks like another heaping shit by B&B on continuity.)
They fought each other in such a manner that there was no quarter asked and none given. They never knew what each other looked like (Considering how often these tards are always going visual in teh show HOW is it possible that they never discovered what the Rommies looked like?) Not to mention the fact that Quo'nos is now less than four light years from Earth WHERE THE HELL IS THE NEUTRAL ZONE going to be??? Oh as I understand it Romulans recently made an appearance on Ent. Ok I HATE this show I HATE IT SO FUCKING MUCH for what they have done to this franchise and to TOS canon. Bastards.

Maybe there is a way to save everything...The Enterprise meets a horrible fiery death and all of its technology takes 100 years or so to rediscover. T'Pol is given the brain of an Orion slave girl and her boy wig is removed, she is then sent to my house for [explicit content too intense for n00bz]

If I remember correctly, given the date of the Romulan War and the date of Enterprise, it would occur within a few years in Enterprise, given that it actually happens of course.

maybe the rommie's don't have ship to ship visual. also, IIRC the war is the rommie's vs. the Vulcans, Andorians and Humans. the federation is formed after the war as a mutual security thing. ALSO the Daedelus class starship is introguced midway through the war and is produced in large numbers.

The only way they can explain the screwing of the timeline they've done in Enterprise is to have the ship erased from time by Annorax in the final episode

They have the in built temporal coldwar for that although they haven't really broken continuity just stretched it upto breaking point (violating the spirit of the law whilst obeying the letter of said law).

Or make it ultra-violent and reveal that it was the Mirror Universe all along.

There aren't enough people with beards to make it the Mirror Universe.

If there is a war, it will probably consist of a two part episode, where the Akiraprise battles one of those green Romulan terds with wings. The Akiraprise wins due to superiour technobabble, and the war is over.

I think that the Enterprise itself will be destroyed just before the war and the next movie will pick up from there. There are so many phrase and lines from South Park that describe this situstion.
1. "This is f*** weak."-Cartman
2. "God I hate you [place a name.]"-Cartman
3. "Oh my God, they killed (ST replaces Kenny.) You bastards."- Stan and Kyle
4. "Respect (ST:TOS replaces my) atuouritty!"- Cartman
5. "Screw you guys. I'm agonin (replace home with to watch TOS.)- Cartman
Feel free to add your own.

Paramount will NEVER make a movie based on Enterprise. Why they keep the show going is an incredible fucking mystery

They like to lose money and like to see ratings fall.

Heh, Stravo they did have Romulans in one ep called "Mine Field." that episode took a big heaping shit on continuity too, even without the things you said.
For starters, and the thing that pissed me off most in the episode, was the Rommie ship was GREEN. In all of fucking continuity bashing B&B era Trek they could have at least remembered that Rom ships were WHITE with a giant BIRD on the bottom. Oh but it gets worse...
All of the sudden, ENT has senesors that can detect cloaked mines. For one, SF has should never SEEN cloaks before, but ugh Suliban. In the ep (of whose name I can't remember) where Kirk and Co. first meet Roms and they cloak, they don't know WTF it is! They theorize an "invisibilty shield" when the ship cloaks or something to that gist. The whole group is stunned! Yet here Aracher has DISCOVERED cloaks ala Suliban already. So how the hell doesn't Kirk know? Those shit for brains B&B thats how.
And second, if ENT can detect a whole fucking FIELD of cloaked mines, why aren't these magical sensors passed down to any other Trek eras? Are they just fucking forgotten? Ah but of course! The Trek Reset Button endures!
As and aside, when whats his names spacesuit is punctured it self seals itself. Neat little function huh? Tell that to Picard in FC assholes! Where was his self sealoing suit then? Gah, continuity shot through the head and had its brains splattered on the wall for B&Bs sick amusement.
Got that ep was almost as bad as "Marauders."

Could "Temporal Cold War Guy" be Gene Roddenberry trying to avenge continiuty error put in by B&B?

Or maybe its William Shanter telliing them to make the show better, but that's not gonna happen.
