So what episode do you hate the most? I don't know if it's the worst, but that "Tuvix" episode was pretty bad. The one where Neelix and Tuvok fused in the transporter and came out as one person. Totally laughable.

Bah, "Threshold" is far worse. Actualy it is the worst Trek episode ever.

The first one. It started the monster moving after all.

Threshold definately takes the cake for worst Trek episode EVER. I would rather watch Spock's Brain several times in a row than watch that horror ever again.

Oh and perhps we could put seasons 1-5 as worst episodes since they all continuasly suck as in one long episode then a breath of fresh air with Scorpion and the introduction of Seven (shut up, I LIKED her character)...then it all goes downhill again with that Hirogen holodeck story and another string of awfulness until the end.

What's Threshold about?

It's the episode where Paris, after tinkering in the shuttlebay, invents a transwarp drive, breaks the Warp 10 threshold, and then mutates into a salamander. If it sounds stupid in a one-sentence description, it looks even stupider in a 42 minute episode.

No one understands why they simply didn't modify Voyagers warpcore like they did with the shuttles and just have either the Doctor tell SF how to change everyone back or leave a message in the computer.

Actually no one understands why they didn't suffer a massive warp core breach and die in a fiery explosion of plasma and hot debris. That would have ended our pain and we would not have had to suffer the indignaties that was that AWFUL AWFUL show.

For me, the title of 'worst-ever Voyager episode' is split between two episodes:

Threshold - As people have already said, Threshold has only a marginal plot and a laughable resolution. You get the impression that after setting up the episode and its' crisis du jour, B&B had no idea how to resolve it in the five minutes or so left of the episode. Worse still, it punches so many holes in continuity that you have to argue that it is uncanonical, possibly even AU. The whole PetJ subplot with the reptile 'babies' at the end made me laugh aloud in contempt.

Once Upon a Time - A Naomi Wildman vehicle. Don't get me wrong: Little Naomi was one of the few reasonably-written characters on Voyager until they turned her into a Wesley clone. However, this whole sugar-sweet and highly pointless episode gives me cavaties.

Oh come now. The Kazons were irritating, but at least nobody turned into a salamander during a Kazon episode.

Any epp where they used the reset button to magcally fix all damage between episodes. (so basically all of them ) "Threshold" was pretty bad. "Year of Hell" part II when Voyager didn't stay dead!!

It's a tie between Threshold (which everyone is aware of by now) and Spirit Folk. If you don't remember, Spirit Folk was another "Holodeck goes wrong" episode, but several things made it far worse than the usual due to lousy writing and lack of thinking (even by B&B standards). For instance, an option is provided to kill power to the Holodeck safely and without harm to the crew trapped inside, but Janeway refuses on account of not wanting to "harm" the Holodeck characters despite the real risk to her trapped officers. In addition, the situation arises because the safeties fail due to the Holodeck characters willfully shooting the main computer -- something that shouldn't be possible. The bad writing level here probably exceeds that of Threshold, which is tied with it on account of bad science.

Any episodes where Neelix has more than one line of text... Damn, how could the little Ocampa sleep with him? How can you explain it?

Voyager had a few good episodes. "Living Witness" was good--mostly for the "evil Voyager" scenes.

Any of the Borg episodes, they just gave the writers excuses to load up the pages with mindless technobabble.

I agree. The Borg episodes were especially bad because each one of them just wussified the Borg even more.
