An Improved battle and ending to Generations

Improved Generations battle scene.
As goes with the original, Picard beams down to the surface while Geordi is beamed over to the Enterprise with his VISOR compromised.
The battle however is much different. Because Lursa and Betor want to take over the Klingon empire and because they have had various levels of support by rogue Klingons, they have a small fleet rather then just a BoP. This time it is two Vorchas and 3 small BoPs. Lura and Betor decide they want to play with the Enterprise. They have the Vorcha they aren’t on fire on the Enterprise. Instantly Riker realizes what has happened when Worf announces “They have found a way to penetrate our shields” and he orders the shields on a random modulation. Riker then orders a full torpedo spread fired on the Vorcha. Then torpedoes streak out and cause heavy shield damage on the Vorcha that fired on the Enterprise. This catches the Klingon fleet by surprise. They return fire and damage the Enterprises frontal shields.
At this point Riker realizes he can’t win a stand up fight. He orders a 180 EAM (Emergency Action Manuever) turn. While turning the Enterprises phasers lance out and savagely maul the remaining shields on the Vorcha. When the Enterprise’s rear torpedoes come to bear another spread is fired and the Vorcha is torn apart. From here the Enterprise runs. It uses all three of its impulse engines and manages to outrun all but the BoPs. The BoPs give chase. A running battle ensues and the Enterprise suffers moderate damage while taking down the BoPs one by one with sustained phaser fire.
Riker now has to stand and fight the Vorcha. Lursa and Betor are on this Vorcha and they are serisouly pissed. They order full fire on the Enterprise. The Enterprise trades fire on the Vorcha causing moderate damage on the frontal shields. In return the Enterprise has its shields knocked out in the front section and the engineering section takes enough damage to hit the warp core. The ejection system is fubared because of the First Flight galaxy having issues with this system. With the warp core damaged and about to blow the Enterprise saucer section can’t escape even it if were launched. Riker makes the decision that the lives on the Veridian planet are more important then the crew of the ship. Riker must give Picard more time. He launches all his shuttles (to support Picard) then turns to face the Vorcha. He orders ramming speed. The Enterprise closes range on the Vorcha and its warp core detonates just moments before impact. The Vorcha survives the blast but is seriously crippled.
On the ground everything remains the same. Picard ends up getting sucked into the Nexus. Once in the Nexus Picard again goes after Kirk for support. Picard does not like time being changed severly. Rather then going to Ten Forward to stop Soran, Picard wants to stop Soran on the planet. He convinces Kirk to join him. Before they go they grab assaults phasers (ST:5 and 6 phasers) from Kirks house. You see, Kirk was able to change clothing from being on the Enterprise B to when he was in the Nexus. Both Kirk and Picard show up inside of Sorans shield. They have a small pistol fight but they manage to nail Soran. Kirk then beats the crap out of Soran to get the codes to stop the missile.
Of course the space battle went the same. However because Picard and Kirk took care of Soran so quickly, they get beamed up to the Enterprise shortly after Lursa and Betor’s Vorcha damages the Enterprises warp core. Once on the ship Kirk hears Riker mention saucer separation. Kirk asks Picard what that meant. This gives Kirk an idea. Riker and Picard try and discuss their options. Kirk checks a computer station real quick, then heads for the turbo lift to the battle bridge. Just 30 seconds later the computer suddenly announces saucer separation in 5 minutes. Kirk then contacts the bridge and says he is giving them a chance to escape. After the crew get out Kirk takes the battle section and heads straight on to the Vorcha. He takes savage damage to the frontal section, however with sustained torpedo and phaser fire Kirk manages to down the frontal shields to the Vorcha. The battles ection impacts the Vorcha and its warp core detonates at that moment. Both ships go up. Cut to the bridge of the saucer where the bridge crew all stands at attention.
The Nebula class ship, the USS Farragut shows up and tows the saucer section back to Starfleet command. Picard gives his little commentary during this point. Then the scene cuts to a memorial service at Starfleet command. A monument to Kirk that had been built decades earlier has a new date mentioned on it. Then you see the main characters of the Enterprise each standing at attention along with several Starfleet Admirals. A short memorial service is conducted. Also at the service is Scotty and Spock.
In the end you get a much better battle and Kirk makes a proper sacrifice. He dies on the bridge of the Enterprise saving lives. Doing the job he was meant to.
