31st Century Capabilities

Post by Rassilon »

PLease post additions in this thread but this is what is currently established.

Devices allowing them to walk through walls.
Extremely strong Phasers
Time Travel
More that Galactic Range (Starfleet explores other galaxies Though probably in the new version of the 5 year mission)
The 26th Century Enterprise-J Was meant to be pretty big and as such used transporters as opposed to turbolifts.
Apparantly able to Cirumnavigate the Grandfather Paradox to a degree
Much larger industry.
For Gallifrey! For victory! For the End of Time!

Since you mentioned the E-J...

29th century Fed uses temporal transporters to send people back in time (if someone uses it too much, bad things will happen though)

Also the 29th century Fed will arrest people for crimes they haven't committed yet (if a future self decides to kill someone in the past, you [present you] will go to jail, just ask Capt. Braxton)

29th century one man craft can match the firepower of a 24th century Intrepid Class

The 31sters and the 29ers aren't the same thing, the most important difference being that the 31sters ignore the temporal prime directive and manipulate history as they see fit about as much as their opponents.

I don't know about their conventional weapons and industrial base, but their most powerful asset is their ability to displace objects of at least the size of the ENT-NX over vast distances in both time and space (in Storm Front they pick up the ENT-NX from Xindi space and put it near WW2 era Earth).
Their weakness is that they must have a general idea of where the objects they wish to manipulate are at a certain time (Cold Front) and that sometimes their manipulations spectacularly blow up in their faces (Shock Wave).
People at birth are naturally good. Their natures are similar, but their habits make them different from each other.

What we do know however is that the 31sters technology is superior to the 29ers therefore we have a lower limit and they can send ships alot bigger than the NX-01 the same distance. They also have the time travel pod. It may not have engines etc but it does have a Temporal displacement drive (I don't like how advanced it is) To be honest the thing that ticks me off the most in Star Trek is the Humans are the head of a federation which becomes a type 3 civilization in 1000 years.
