B&B just want to make money, right?

Then why don't they include more vehicles, weapons and starships?
They could sell them as models, toys, blueprints, etc.
Merchandising! Where the real money from the movies is made!

But that would require some sort of creativity on their part! Look what happened last time they designed a "new" starship, we got the Akiraprise.

I don't know if you have ever sat down and created a 'starship' but it takes a while. B&B don't do anything that takes awhile, like stories or plot line, or characters, let alone ships. They recycle plots and characters and they recycle ships (hence the Akiraprise). I hate those bastards.

It's cheaper to simply make a bunch of variations on core characters. And lack of creativity. Besides, there is already a great deal of ST merchandise out there. At least four action figure lines, prop toys, a starship toy, bridge diorama thing, etc.
Look at the Batman action figure line.

Because B&B despise creativity in all its forms and somehow think that theirs is a serious effort not to be degraded by such things as blooper reels or good music.

Because that would require creativity. And in case you haven't noticed they don't exactly have that, at all.

The toys and such wouldnt be great ideas because it wouldn't necessairly be targeted towards the 18-35 Key demographic. I went to a local Toys R Us recently to do some price checking on new PS2 games I decided to cruise the aisles. Saw some Enterprise and nemesis figures there collecting a hefty amount of dust.
To top it off Enterprise really isn't a marketable show. Id buy fully poseable action hoshi and a Decon chamber playset but the rest could sit on shelves until Saddam Hussien wins a nobel Peace Prize.
