Ok, we have been sending messages out into space for the better part of a century now. What if Nasa were to recieve back a rebroadcast of the original series, with the message "Please don't fuck this up".

How long do we have before they come and kill us over Voyager?

If we go with the scenario in Futurama i think 1000 years

Well TOS came out in the 60's so about 20 years. Considering it takes 20 years for them to recieve and then 20 years to broadcast back a signal. Rounded of course. There would be time for them to watch it and stuff. Except we have already sent signals of Voyager. Which means, we're fucked.

No way out unless we can somehow interfere with TV signals in space. They will come over and kill us unless we can get something better before they can get here. Depending on their propulsion technology that could take awhile. So we would have to send something out for them to pick up on their way here after they pick up Voyager in 12 years. Then they would get Enterprise.

In other words, we're up shit creek without a paddle.

But if the sight of Janeway make these aliens horny they might not kill us
