Cyrano Jones is a more moral person. Harry is possibly more entertaining. Roger C. Carmel is great.

Cyrano Jones could have been almost as fun as Harry Mudd if we'd gotten more chances to see him, although Carmel's sheer mastery would still carry him.

Honestly, I don't think anyone would have thought twice about it if Jones had been cast in one of Mudd's episodes or vice versa; the two characters play very similar roles and have very similar styles.

Jones usually has somewhat innocent intentions, mud seems to care more about the bottom line, which leads to some interesting situations.

I find Mudd's plans grosser- effectively selling sex bots and keeping a copy of his ex wife around- but on the flip side, selling Tribbles is actually like a million times more dangerous!
