Who was it that Mulgrew replaced? I remember hearing about an actress who walked out of Paramount because they wanted to wear a padded bra.

Don't you mean because they wanted the other one to wear a padded bra?

I wonder what Voyager would have been like if Janeway was played by Geneviève Bujold?

Series still would suck. B&B would still be running the show.

It still would have been a travesty. I mean look at Patrick Stewart in Insurrection. A brilliant actor with material that he can't do anything with. Such would have been the fate of any actress in Voyager though Mulgrew had a suckiness all her own to bring to the table.

You've hit that nail right on the head! A really bad script can ruin even the best actors - just watch Batman & Robin if you want an example.

Only because you can't stop laughing at the stupid lines he's forced to say, not made less unintentionally funny be Arnold's obvious Austrian accent....

What about such one-liners as...

"Deh aiyceman kummet!"
"Yeh nawt sendin me to deh KOOLAH!"

and the unforgettable

"Kill the heroes!"
