How can the ratings fall so fast?

We all know the real answer to that.
The pilot episode had over 12.5 million viewers, and on the second season, the episode "Horizon" had only 3.36 million viewers.
And still Enterprise has been given a another chance. They have been given a third season. If the ratings continues to fall at this rate, the third season will probably and hopefully be the last one. Other shows wouldn't have been given a chance like this.
I just hoping for the day when the news comes when Entrprise has been cancelled. But that will unlikely to happen in the near future. But I do want to see the ratings on the first episode of season three.
I expect them to be quite low, lower then current.

Yeah. Especially since B&B have to have sold their souls to the devil to keep their jobs.

Enterprise is proof there are no such things as ghost. If there were, then Gene would have comeback to give B&B the biggest supernatural bitchslap the world has ever seen.

Because of B&B raping ST, one of my friends who is atheist said, "I told you so."

IT really does make me sick when shows like crusade have 13 episodes and this filth gets 3 series. May roddenberry spin in his grave and we get a clean renewable energy source from it.

It is not so much that I want to see "Enterprise" cancelled because I want to hear about Paramount firing B & B, bringing in fresh new writers who watched TOS and changing the show dynamics.
First things first: We need to decannonize "Star Trek FC," "Star Trek Voyager" and "Enterprise." Start over. Get rid of the shows that fucked Trek up.

Crusade was cool alright, minus that first TNT inserted episode.

I could see Sci-fi making more of Crusade when they realize how stuid Termors is.

Maybe he already has, by sapping the two of all brainpower they have. Course, thanks to the studio execs, this has inadvertantly done worse. Just a theory.

Damn it get some good, indapendint writers in there to write the scripts.
Paramont if you're there, CALL ME! I can write a good epasode (I have, in fact, just not for any shows)...

Crusade's dead. Face it, it's been four years since it went off air, it's dead. I'd love to see the story told but it's not going to happen.

The only way ST is going to get better is if some obscenely rich and intelligent Trek fan buys the franchise and tells B&B not to let the door smack their asses on the way out. Either that or a complete corporate shake-up at Paramount.
Every Star Trek series has had potential. Even the basic premise for all of them could have done better (even this most idiotic reincarnation), but the writers know nothing of character development, beleivable plots, common sense, or narrative style.

I'm obbsinly intelagent
you can all pitch in and donate money and then I'll be obsinly Rich to. (Of corse I'll never figure out how to spell. Wait! Thats what B&B's job will be if I take over, they can spell check (I wouldn't trust em with grammer))

The only feasible way Star Trek is going to get better is if they turned off the damned life support and let it die. It's been lurching since Voyager. Perhaps if they left it alone for a decade or two, then they could bring it back, but otherwise, there should be no more Trek after Enterprise gets canned.

It seems to me that all Berman and Braga are doing at this point is desperately hoping that Paramount doesn't pay attention to the ratings while cutting them a check.

Not to mention B&B have said several times in interviews they do check ST forums to see what ST fans are thinking about the current show.
But they suddenly lost track on what the fans are saying and thinking somewhere, since they keep making crap episodes and they still pretend not knowing why the ratings are falling. Actually they are putting the blame on several factors.
1. Fantasy is taking over. More people wants to watch Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring and fantasy series "It's a phase".
2. UPN has lost several stations due to poor ratings, means less people can watch Enterprise. ( But if people really wanted to see it they would have higher ratings )
3. Berman have claimed Star Trek fans/sci-fi fans are not ready for Enterprise. ( I think that is the most stupid peice of shit statement that has ever come out of Berman's mouth
)
4. B&B have said they should have waited a couple of years before airing Enterprise so people could have swallowed the peice of shit show called Voyager by the time they aired the new serie. ( What they don't know is Enterprise would most likely have lost most of its viewers still even if they had waited a few years because majority of sci-fi fans doesn't like shows that has no quality )
That should be enough for now.

Not to nitpick, but Roddenberry can't spin in his grave, as he was cremated after his death.

In that case....may the orbit bound ashes of roddenberry spin and give us eternal life akin to the kind in insurrection.

There are no fantasy series on TV right now, right?

That's true. The best way to prepare ST / sci-fi fans for Enterprise would involve them smoking
A LOT of pot!
For a series that was suppose to recapture the spirit of TOS, Enterprise has a miserable failure.

Obviously they forgot that TOS had good writers.

Its lasted long enough that once canacled B&B will probably be able to blame the distraction of the war on terror and get to make another series. To kill B&B Trek has to not only cease making money but also begin actively draining away, as Wong has pointed out that's not going to happen. Even if Enterprise makes no money it can be justified as attracting interest to buy DVD's and such.
