Has anyone else seen the two trailers they have for their all new episodes, next week? They seem to be making fun of themselves. Kate and I nearly died laughing when we saw them.

The first one shows an officer, and introduces him with the words "Meet the man who should have been Captain Archer." The second one involves lots of decon gel and the words, "It's finally happened--T'Pol is in heat."

Now, seriously, I can sort of see what they were trying to say in both episode trailers, but someone should have caught that well before they actually sent those ads on the airwaves. Mocking your own product is not good, and the unimaginative and seemingly boring episodes make it all the worse.

The mocking though makes the commerical trailers watchable....barely.

Ah, yes. They couldn't stop with a shameless lowest-common-demoninator episode involving the Borg, now they are going to do the whole "What If?" episode and the "T-and-Alien Desperately Needs Cock" episode?

I heard that one of them will have a Tellerite bounty hunter capture Archer. I hope they don't add brow ridges to the Tellerite like they did to the Andorians.

well, if Hoshi goes into heat, i might watch it again. but then again i can't stand Trip "I can fix yer' warp drive Mr. Drysdale! I plum graduated the 3rd grade! yeeee-haw!".
