How big is the time gap between the last episode of TNG to the movie Generations?

I think it must be set between seasons as wasnt worf in till the end of TNG but in the next TV season of DS9?????

I remember the episode where Worf arrives on station, and Sisko says he's sorry for the loss of the Enterprise, although I'll be damned if I can remember which episode it was. Must be early in the Dominion Stuff, as he came on board either when or just after the Defiant's assignment.

It was "Way of the Warrior" which opened season 4 of DS9, so that puts Generations within about 9 months of All Good Things.
