Where will B&B go next?

Post by Anarchist Bunny »

After Enterprise is canseled and forcefully pushed from our minds, and assuming B&B are thrown to the streets by Paramount and are allowed to make a new series, and in attempt to make room for new storylines which they will ofcourse fill with rehashed plots and show the same old races more than new ones, where do you think they will go?

They will be trapped in another demention.

Notice I said demention, not dimention.

Outright porn is quite likely too.

They lack the integrity needed for porn.
Playboy would do the classy teaser stuff better.
Zane and Extreme Assos. do the raincoater stuff better.
Private and VCA can do the ones with plots better.

If their business and investment skills are as good as their movie production skills, they will be "writing sci fi for food." Playing now at an freeway onramp near you.

I wouldn't be surprised if one day, a crazed Trekkie dressed as a Klingon, complete with Battle'h (I deny owning the Klingon Warrior outfit), see's them at a convention and does the world a big favour...

However, seriously, maybe Aaron Spelling would hire them to produce 90210:3000AD

Why thank you, I try my best

Now which is the one that should be the capital offense? the 90210, or the crazed Klingon?

I think Braga wanted to go to the 29th century and do an entire series about the timeships. A prequel series was not what he and Bergman wanted to do--it was something like a backup to a backup idea, but it was the first idea on their list that Paramount liked. The temporal cold war storyline is probably the best compromise they could get.

Ironically, as much as we bitch about the endless time travel stories, I think if B&B had been allowed to do an entire series about time travel, they would have done better. They'd be allowed to screw around with continunity and paradoxes and not have to try to shoehorn them into a traditional Trek format.

EDIT: Well, so much for seriously contributing to this thread. Apparently, seanrobertson had a point in the "Enterprise review" thread. Seriously, guys, we get it--B&B stink. People who write fanfics about discovering a fifth quadrant are idiots. Understood. Now do we really need any more "me-too" posts about just how much you hate B&B and stupid fanfic writers?
