Turkana IV hostage situation

Post by Uraniun235 »

In "Legacy", the Enterprise must rescue two crewmen held on the colony of Turkana IV.

If an ISD were placed in the same situation, how would it resolve the situation?

Depends on the government in charge of the ISD. Imperial captain would threaten to BDZ the planet, then start taking it apart one grid at a time. NR captain would possibly send in a commando raid to retrieve their crewmen.

For once? You mean when I said the Empire would defeat the Federation through superior FTL, greater numbers, and more powerful ships, I was wrong? :D

Either the ISD captain would say screw them and just leave them behind, or just in case they give up valuable information, just slag the planet and all that remain.

Actually I think they had a planet named that in the X-wing games where the Imps went in and kicked Rebel ass... I could be wrong tho, I really havent played the game since High School.

If that's the episode with Yar's sister, I don't think that situation would have happened.

Once the government started to lose control of the population, an Imperial garrison would have come in to restore order. Unlike SF which was unable to go in.
