Had to do this for English III. We read Edgar Allen Poe's Raven and then write a poem similar in structure to it.

The Rabid Trekkie
Kojikun
To and fro from websites boring, nearly was I ‘sleep and snoring,
Reading pages of discussion from which logic saw no light.
Foolish were these arguments many, none made sense not one not any,
None of these thoughts worth even a penny, all of them were such a fright –
“Rabid Trekkies here,” I thought, “who’s thoughts are such a fright,
I wish there were none in sight.”
Many sites like this I’ve seen, who’s inhabitants can be quite mean,
Yet none of them have much worth reading at all during this long night.
It’s fun to read a Warsie rebuttal, none of which are very subtle,
But knocking down all of this muddle, making the arguments seem trite.
How very tedious, these arguments trite,
Oh I wish there were none in sight.
Most of these arguments did suck, I wanted to tell them to go fuck
themselves all through this long and boring night,
This of course would be quite droll, and yet make me look like a troll,
So I did within me kept this sole thing I had to say in this fight.
To the pros its best to leave this fight,
Many of which are still in sight.

Not bad at all, if I do say so myself. Metrically it's even pretty good, most of the time. Excellent work.
