the SC, btw, survived a glancing hit from the prototype DS's SL, and the resonance torpedo works against practically anything, it just died out since the prototype DS was mostly framework(still took out a good chunk of the center though).

It wouldnt be so lopsided if the Feds had better production tech (nanolathe) and at least Heavy Turbolaser tech. I dont know if they'd win but surely it be no longer as one-sided.
How the hell would a nanolathe allow them to build giant warfleets and keep themselves from being stomped flat? Even converting their whole fleet to Imperial technology wouldn't keep them from being stomped flat in light of their tiny number of star systems under control.
But to try and really own the Empire (ship to ship) it would help if they also had those Kerrim(?) Timeships from Voyager which could erase planets and ships from time-space. Thats an almost insurmountible advantage.
Not really; we know there are multiple timelines in Star Trek; did the Krenim timeship affect them all? The easiest way to explain that episode is to theorize that the Krenim ship created its own timeline, and Voyager got pulled into it. The fact that this timeline completely disappeared without a trace when the Krenim ship was destroyed substantiates that idea.
