Possible the Dredge from Titan AE

And if you could make the Titan suck up Turbolaser fire for power, that would be handy.

What about that big-ass mech from Robotech/Macross (sorry, I don't remember it's name)

The Aqua Teen Hunger Force could do the trick. They could use the rainbow machine or the giant robot bunny. Maybe even Carl's car.

You mean the SDF-1 in Attack mode? From what I hear, Macross-verse weapons have yields that are hardly impressive, so I doubt that it could handle anything the Empire throws at it. The main gun might be able to do some nice damage, though - creates a crater several miles wide and can more or less roast anything in its line of sight (Hell, if the scene from Booby Trap is any evidence, the beam can even bend). Forcefields, though, can stop the beam - the PPBS sysstem can deflect a Heavy Particle Beam if all four discs on a system are stacked (though at a terrible cost to system operation), and with the yields that some of the members here estimated, it might not be able to go anything but simulate a single turbolaser blast.

If we're getting into Macross forces, I'd like to see the capabilities of that giant base Boldolza was using near the end of the first saga - 600 to 1400 kilometers wide, has this giant converging particle beam cannon that can make a beam 500 miles long, hundreds of the main guns seen on smaller Zentraedi cruisers (not comparable to the Macross Cannon, these are the light ones) as well as thousands upon thousands of laser and missile turrets. It even has its own manufacturing and cloning facilities, and is stocked with millions of mecha and soldiers in stasis.

The only problem might be getting Boldolza to team up with the Alpha Quadrent and thus allow for analysis of his base and its various technologies.

Of course, when you look at this idea, it looks like a whole lot of wanking - but given Zentraedi casualty rates, things should even out fairly well.

The station your speaking of is, I beleive, the Robotech Factory Satellite, later became Liberty Station during the Southern Cross Saga, abandoned during the Second Robotech War, later reclaimed by REF forces during the 3rd Robotech War.

And I gotta go with some of the others, and side with SG1

Since the last post here is yesterday, I hope this isn't thread necromancy.
A Puppet Master (from the Heinlein novel) or something like it might have the best shot. It could take over Imperial officers and turn the Empire's strength against itself.

Two words for you guys.... Unicron the Devourer. Okay! Three words then.

Unicron finds battered federations starships drifting in space, venting warp plasma and atmosphere like the bitches they are, when the voice of Orson Wells booms over the hailing frequencies...

"Picard. Picard!"
"Who said that?"
"I am Unicron!"
"Show yourself"
"I have summoned you here for a purpose.
"Nobody summons The Enterprise."
"Then it pleases me to be the first..."

Then Unicron sucks up the remnants of the Federation fleet and spits out a whole bunch of improved ships with more powerful weapons. Galvatrons cannon was shown to destroy an entire planet with one shot after all, something the federations phaser banks could never do (transformers, season 4, episode 1)

And should the newly-recreated starfleet be mutilated by the Empire, Unicron can only be truely destroyed by the Creation Matrix and what are the chances of the emperor having hold of that?

"Lord Vadar"
"Yes, my Master."
"I found something whilst shopping at Walmart."
"What is it, my Master?"
"I'm not sure. It's gigantic, shiney and blue."
"What do you plan to do with it, my Master?"
"I dunno. Toss it in the pile, I suppose. You never know. it might come in handy should a planet-sized dark god of destruction meander along in 2005..."

The only problem here is, who would save the poor little federation from a portion of Unicron?
...and knowing is half the battle

Could Crichton and the Moya crew show up and teach the AQ-ers to make wormholes o' doom?
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!
