I was going to say that Vympel's plan kinda struck me as akin to taking a car back to medieval times and trying to keep it running...

Then I thought...

Car... medieval times... chainsaw... boom stick...

I would help the Maquis crush the Cardassians. I wouldn't kill unless I needed to, as my shields would easily laugh off anything but an entire fleet firing at me.

? While the latter point is probably true (Falcon could withstand several low-megaton ranged light turbolaser hits over the course of a minute or so in TESB), how will she help the underequipped Maquis "crush" the Cardassians?

Maybe I would help the Feds, but more likely I would help the colonists. Maybe appear out of nowhere killing the Borg cube in BOBW and going to hyperspace before anybody figured out what happened. Maybe go to Borg space and take them out, for the good of the galaxy.

If we assumed Falcon's concussion missiles' yield were comparable to Slave One's, I could see her taking down one cube. But the whole Collective?

Again, you have to be kidding!

I am also concerned at various posters' [perhaps wholly light-hearted] assertions that Millenium Falcon would easily dispatch a Bird-of-Prey with her quad lasers. If anyone is serious about that idea, would they kindly back it up with some figures?
