Hyperdrive ratings.

Post by Glimmervoid »

Some one once told me that the lower the hyperdrive rating the faster it goes and that Gorge Lucas said this in an interview. Dose any one know were I can get a copy of this interview or better yet have a copy. Also please tell me if this is just wrong information.

I need it to settle an argument of the startrek.com forms(yep its still going).

It's correct, although can't help you with the interview.

Normal hyperdrive is x2. Slow and old ones are x3-4. Snail speed is x5-->

ISDs have a rating of x1

Fastest you can go is x0.25 (It's not the absolute limit, but engines with this rating are experimental)

At least this according to the RPG's.

I thought ISDs have a x2 rating. One of the advantages the EU mentions for the VSD is that it has a faster x1 hyperdrive.
