The scientific oddities in Star Wars vs Star Trek
To compare the science of both, not just the published specifications.

Last I checked, noob, is that there's a website somewhere called star destroyer dot net or something. I also hear that the board there is rather famous for chewing up clueless n00bs alive in an extremely painful (for the noob) manner, such that the noob will be wishing they'd been eaten by a Sarlaac.
Have a Nice Day.

Ridiculouse
Both Star Trek and star wars follow, to certain extent, the laws of physics. However, the specification provided for the Ships of star wars, when compared to those of Star Trek are ridiculously unproportional.
First, any current however small produces resistance, which in turn produces heat. To minimize this, conductors and super conductors are used. However, the large amounts of energy that are funneled through the star wars turbo lasers use hundreds of millions of joules of energy which would produce an enourmouse amount of heat. This would either require the gun to rest for a considerable amount of time before firing again or it would melt the platform entierly. This is also true for many other systems of the star wars ships. The electric wires, as are frequently seen, are far too small and far too few to carry the hundreds of trillions of joules of energy that are used by the cannons every fraction of a second.
This is especially true for the death star. In order to destroy a planet one would need a considerable amount of energy. After visiting some websites I use an estimate of about 10^33 kilojoules of energy. Such an amount of energy is hard to come by, not to mention the amount of heat created by the resistance as the current was being focused into the cannon. Even if we use Einstein's equation E=mcsquared and assume 100% efficiency we would need an excess of 8.163*10^15 kilograms of matter fuel that is directly converted into energy. Because star wars engine do not use a matter-antimatter reaction, but a nuclear fusion one. The amount of fuel needed to power one shot of a Death Star beam is incomprehensible.
Furthermore the hyperdrive engine cannot function by being powered by a nuclear fusion reactor. Such a power system is inefficient and could never provide enough power to run even the smallest of the star wars ships as they are described.

First, learn how to use paragraphs. Your post makes my eyes bleed. Second, I'm not sure what the fuck you're trying to get across for a point, but most of your observations are flawed. As I see em:
I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, so I'll leave this for someone used to sifting through tripe.X-4152 wrote:Both Star Trek and star wars follow, to certain extent, the laws of physics. Wrong. Star Wars engines are powered by hyper matter, which is a material of so far unknown composition. Please get your facts straight, and read the main website. This is especially true for the death star. In order to destroy a planet one would need a considerable amount of energy. Did you even bother doing any research before hand? Where the fuck are you getting this tripe about Star Wars vessels being powered by nuclear fusion?Furthermore the hyperdrive engine cannot function by being powered by a nuclear fusion reactor. Such a power system is inefficient and could never provide enough power to run even the smallest of the star wars ships as they are described.
"It's you Americans. There's something about nipples you hate. If this were Germany, we'd be romping around naked on the stage here."
Wow, a noob that hasn't read the board. This should be interesting. NOT.
He'll start tossing Wall of Ignorance around, and insults, and general stupidity until he get's banned.
Here's my rebuttal to you, in full, with full credit to it's authors:

Gods, does this serve any purpose? I'm not seeing it. Probationally locked for being almost all spam.
