Possibly Kern County (lots of Biker bastards, and other meth kids), Mendicino County (the wonderful bible belt stronghold which I happen to live in), Doubt it's Mendicino, or Eureka (They may be a bunch of crazy hippies and redneck loggers, but most of them could either care less about Sci-fi, or figure that the druggie Jedi/Guild Navigators would win anyways)

at least that's my reaction from living in the North Coast, Mountain and Kern County areas for some times.

i don't know about that, the battle was a while back, they had time to repair. plus, we never saw any ships damaged during the battle of hoth, not one.

1. There were rushed into the asteroid field immediatly. Planetary weapon damage it big.

i thought vade was on the superstar destroyer? so every ship in the fleet has to lower their shields? it was a regular star destroyer that got destroyed by the asteriod, not vaders ship.
