Wrath of Kahn hands down.

Tough call between Wrath of Khan and the Empire Strikes Back, but I have to go with ESB.
Fragment of the Lord of Nightmares, release thy heavenly retribution. Blade of cold, black nothingness: become my power, become my body. Together, let us walk the path of destruction and smash even the souls of the Gods! RAGNA BLADE!

Best SW = Empire Strikes Back
Best ST = Undiscovered Country (the end of an era, *sob*)
Both outstanding films. I can see them both 50 times and be ready to watch them again one day. Between the two, I have to give a slight edge to Empire.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

ESB- like Aaron said, SW not for kids. Gives me oodles of hope about Episode III, actually.

The end of all good Trek. Damn, they just can't make 'em like they used to.Captain Kruger wrote: Best ST = Undiscovered Country (the end of an era, *sob*)
I'd have to say my personal order would be
The Empire Strikes Back
A New Hope
Return of the Jedi
The Undiscovered Country
Attack of the Clones (as long as it's the IMAX cut)
The Wrath of Kahn
Attack of the Clones (regular cut)
The Phantom Menace
The Voyage Home
All the rest of the Trek movies
The TNG big screen episodes (aka the TNG movies)

I want to understand one thing. Why do you guys like ESB so much? (not dissing you for it..I'm just curious, thats all.) Don't get me wrong, I liked ESB too, but IMO it wasn't near as good as ROTJ and ST:TWOK. Was it the scene with Chewie beating the shit out of the Falcon's innards?

For me it was how it handled the characters.
Vader was downright brutal both in the fighting and how he bitchsmacked Solo's blaster skills, but showed a cold calculating, even manipulative side throughout the movie.
Han and Leia's romance was well played out(yeah I know about the ad-libbing)
Yoda was a good departure from Ben and for the most part I saw why he was a teacher.
But for me at that age(9 or so)it was the twist, when I first saw it about Vader claiming to be Luke's father.
Overall I just like the flow and pacing of the movie and at no point felt just bored.

I have to echo Ghost Rider's comments above pretty much to the letter. Just a brilliant film from start to finish.Vertigo1 wrote:I want to understand one thing. Why do you guys like ESB so much? ST6 and ST2 were very worthy to share a podium with ESB, but ROTJ fell way short in my eyes. The 3-way Endor battle was great minus the Ewoks. The Jabba scenes were cool. But aside from that, the dialogue was worse than anything I've heard in the prequels and the acting was pretty cheesy from most parties.
