Incorrect, a Borg Cube is larger than an ISD. An ISD is 1.6 km long, while all sides of a Borg Cube measure approx. 3.04 km long.Master of Ossus wrote:I'm just skimming it, but I like the guy who claims that we should look at this from a tactical perspective, but then says that a Borg cube is an intimidating piece of equipment, even though it is smaller than an ISD. He is clearly totally unqualified to be debating, if he doesn't even know how big the ships involved in the fight are.

He most likely mean that the Cube is smaller in the sense of firepower.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Oh, sorry, my post is confusing. I know that the cube is much larger volumetrically than an ISD. The guy I was laughing at was saying that both were intimidating, even though a cube is smaller. I was laughing at him because he did NOT know that the ISD was actually smaller than a cube.Shadow wrote:Incorrect, a Borg Cube is larger than an ISD. It's the same thing we've seen before from uninformed Trekkies. They get so caught up in the Trek universe that they automatically equate Trek tech with all universes, ignoring the actual technology available to those other universes. Once actual SW technology is pointed out in such a debate, only the most insane of hard-core Trekkies (Darkstar?) stick to their claims of Trek superiority.Aya wrote:http://www.infoceptor.com/vbulletin/sho ... adid=33813
I found this at a forum I've been going to for two years, my first post in the thread was the basic stuff I've seen people here use when comparing tech. Anyways, someone named RingWraith (some newbie) dared call Wong a "newbie" who made up numbers.
