But, I think we should give the little guy a second chance. Everyone deserves a second chance, after all. Wasn't it Jesus that said we should forgive others seventy times seven times? Maybe that equation was too hard for Mr. X to figure out...

It would be interesting to wait and see if he does come back. It might also be interesting to keep on the look out in case he pops up elsewhere repeating the "arguments" he will post on obscure web boards but refuses to furnish to Mike on request during a so called debate. I'd be willing to bet that he "blocks" Mike, then goes on to snipe at him behind his back from a distance someplace else.

He doesn't know a nuclear weapons guy, or the guy he does know is lying his ass off to him. First off the information is just plain wrong (his claims that the US actually did have standard nuclear weapons in excess of 100 MT), and secondly you have to go through about 80 zillion things to just get assigned the Jimmy Carter, its far in excess of that to work on nuclear weapons. No way in hell the nuclear weapons guy would just tell his buddy when they know he is going to post it online.

Oh, they are more than willing to talk, but it will all be sea stories. I had a crewmember of a Spruance class talk about the Tomahawk cruise missles they were carrying. Not only were they nukes, they were cluster nukes: the submunitions would release as they approached the target to saturate the area. I refrained from laughing at him as I had a couple days left on board.

On reflection, the crewman was talking about a Spruance moored alongside. The one I was on, the Moosbrugger, was only equipped with Asroc and Sea Sparrow, and hadn't been refitted with Tomahawks at that time.

The withered remains of the "Galactic" Empire are losing on all fronts. Here, the Ambassador-class USS Woodrow Wilson surprises an Imperial II star destroyer, the Death Hammer, and orders their immediate surrender. When Death Hammere's captain unwisely orders the gunners to open fire, he gets a rude awakening, and a nasty taste of UFP Starfleet firepower. There are very few survivors for the Woodrow Wilson to recover.

His MSN Group has quite a few pics along those lines...

I doubt it. Bobby has seen all of his arguments refuted before, and it's never prompted him to change any of his arguments. A hundred people could point out that a photon torpedo is obviously not 30 feet wide, and he'll just ignore them.
