They frequently do use such arguments! In spite of the fact that the Defiant is MUCH larger than starfighters, I have often heard that it could dodge turbolasers as easily as A-Wings. Also, Loser099 was telling everyone that the Falcon should have been utterly destroyed by a 300 gigaton blast from an ISD, even though it was clearly a light turbolaser shot. Then again, he IS Loser099, so he's really not representative of anything other than himself.Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr. That mens that a larger, slower, less maneuverable vessel could easily exploit this "large blind sopt" for uhh, I dunno."
"The Star is useless against a target moving faster than light, and It couldn't destroy Federation planets, because Federation ships are immune to lasers, and a Federation ship could easily beam a through the shields, 80 kilometers of metal walls, into the core."
"All targets are the same, and all weapons are the same"
I made these up, but I wouldn't be suprised if a Trekkie actually used these arguments. The last one is a generalization of many Trekkie arguments.
Not to mention the Force, armor and shields, communications, and a more complete arsenal of weapons for ground forces.USAF Ace wrote:Oh Yeah?! Let's examine all that bad Warsies Logic!
Empire has power, speed, numerical, and logistical superiority over the Federation, therefore Emps>Feds.
What kinda bullshit Warsies Logic is that?
