Worf.... Well, he'd probably disobey orders and get shot. :P
Or he'd challenge a wookiee to a duel, and we all know how that would turn out...

does this topic mean that every important character in the ST univers gets tranfered to the SW univers and Vis versa?

If this is the case then i think Picard would def get force choked, i dont think he likes to follow orders. On the other hand he is loyal to Home planet so maybe he would be too good of a captain to be killed (at first)

Put Pichard in charge of Coruscant's defenses, and he would do well.

Are you kidding?

I'm imagining Picard in charge of Coruscant's defenses during NJO, when the Vong invaded.

Remember? They started throwing thousands of captured passenger liners with tens out thousands of people aboard each at the shields and demanding that the NR lower the shields or they kill more people.

Picard would have made a moving speech about how it was their duty to prevent the death of thousands, order the shields lowered, and be promptly shot before the order could be carried out :P

Woah, they did one of those to Harry as well? I haven't watched enough Voyager, thankfully.

They did the same thing to O'Brien in DS9. He went 6 hours in the future, died, and sent his future self (who should be dead since the past one died?) back in time to replace himself.

alternatively, how would some of the more famous SW characters, including Vader do in the ST Galaxy?

Note: In case of Vader he loses his Force Powers, there are no minichlorines in ST galaxy.

Why the fuck would the latter matter? My god, this brainbug has to fucking die.

In any case, we have to mention.. Do they have their toys? Han without the Falcon is hard to imagine, but Han with the Falcon is hard to stop.

Fuck off, troll.

Lando and Han would go about business as usual, Luke would whinge, Leia would be resonably useless (although a staff position in SF is, frankly, an option for anyone). Ackbar would teach them a thing or two about tactics. Its amusing the difference competence has :)

I guess he gets an equivalent ship from the Trekverse (letting him keep a private ship that can take out the dreaded Borg cube seems a touch unfair  ).

Hans character is intimately connected with his ship: he'd never abandon the Falcon, but he'd cut and run on any other ship in a second. You'd have to transpose the whole backstory (like, fleet training, hotting up small cargo ship for smuggling, etc) into the ST universe for it to make sense, so you'd have a ST-MF that Hans in love with. And something to replace the wookie. :)

i'm not sure why people think data or any of the non humans in starfleet would do well in the empire. doesn't the empire have an extremely xenophobic attitude during its height? with non humans and especially droids being extremely suppressed?

SW Chars in Feddie Space

Hall of Fame:

Emperor Palpatine. Give me a break. This guy suborned the Old Republic in its entirety and pulled the wool over the eyes of the collective Jedi Order. Give him a year, and he'll be President of the Federation.

Major Players:

Darth Vader. Given that everything else remains constant, Vader will be right there with Palpatine. As for the oft-repeated, 'there ain't no midichlorians, so no Force powers, nyah, nyah' argument, the midichlorians are in the one place necessary for the Force to work: inside Vader.

Luke Skywalker. Why wouldn't an idealistic farm boy from Tatooine prosper in the Federation?

Leia Organa Solo. Solid diplomatic training, she'll do fine.

Han Solo. Unlikely to end up in Starfleet, given his casual disrespect for authority. Smart enough not to get into economic pissing contests with the Ferengi.

Lando Calrissian. Like his buddy Han, Lando will land on his feet no matter where you toss him.

Admiral Motti. Would want to know why the Federation hasn't beaten the snot out of the Klingons and Cardassians. Fails on a diplomatic level.
(Motti is the Admiral who touts the Death Star as the ultimate power in the galaxy, and is subsequently choked by Vader.)
