I smacked down Genesis Device, but now a mod there is going on about Time Travel, and a bunch of other fallacies. They also apparently know nothing about the EU (understandable as they are not as into it as we are, but one would think they would atleast read the site to get a clue)

We may be in for the long haul educating them here.

You guys do realize that trek ships can NOT manouevre at warp right?

there was an episode of Voyager where it was explicitly stated that the first thing taught in piloting classes at the academy was that attempting to change direction while in warp would rip the ship appart.

Does one of you want to mention this in your next post to counter that zaphod idiot or should I chime in as well?

They can, they did it all the time in TOS, in TNG theres the saucer sep (thats not certain though), DS9 had a runnerabout "drifting" in warp and Voy's Message in a Bottle had multi-vector assualt at warp.
