Hmm its funny how our opinion matters when its in your favour but when we disagree we are crazy - technically GL's quote doesnt make sense because he contradicts himself with it being paralle and yet is ok between movies (except he has over ridden stuff that exists between the movies) ie comic stuff and other hings.

Also getting picky that means anything post ROTJ isnt valid since its not between the movies (not alot of the stuff is) it could easily be infered that GL took a look at Shadows of the Empire and ok'ed it since it fits alot better than most EU.

I have also said that from my point of view it doesnt matter just start debating EU universe in Vs debates, im not being biased Im simply going on what evidence was provided in the debate on EU until it devolved into nuhu, Yuhu, no, yes, and so on.

If we only saw what we wanted to see wouldnt we all still believe that the TNG Feds could backhand the Imps at every turn?

Seeing the GE as the good guys and the Feds as evil now thats only seeing what you want to see.

Don't you understand, NO mortal can weild the Wall of Ignorance. It is evil and contains Dorkstars idiot will and essence. It must be destroyed. But who will carry out such a task?

No DarkStar proved he could easily outlast any machine known to man.

The andriod would eventually run out of power or it would ware out due to extended typing/speech/ramming of someones head into a wall.

Reason and logic are weapons that cannot defeat him, the warsies sent their warrior king against him but not one of his blows affected the beast - in the end Lord Wong retired from the feild of battle with the knowledge that he had used his mightiest blows but to no avail while the beast bellowed with laughter at his impotence.

He simply has powers beyond the Ken of normal men and defeating him cannot be done by any creation of this earth.

I think MW could beat RSA, but it would be necessary to find a respected 'neutral' to act as referee, and keep both debaters (ie RSA) honest. The trick of course would be finding someone capable of performing the role who doesn't hate RSA.

Darkstar definitely lost. But he is far too stupid to ever perceive that fact. In his delusional little world, he had already won with the first post. In objective reality, however, nobody will want to try to slog their way through his ramblings —and even those with the fortitude to do so will not see his explaining his "theory" in any coherent manner beyond "it is because it is because it is because it is because it is because it is because it is because it is..."

To any objective observer, it's pretty clear that DS is full of BS. Whatever Darkstar imagines is entirely immaterial.

I'd say a tie. Sure, Mike crushed his points, but DarkStar probably thinks he won, and is telling everyone he can. I was dissapointed to see it end. I would have loved to see DarkStar's wall of ignorance fall, and him conceding the debate. It's a shame it didn't. Nobody will beat DarkStar until we find a way to break this wall.

Seriously, you can't expect to make someone concede, and you certainly can't judge success or failure on that basis. By that token, creationists have never lost a debate.

Mike won easily, but in the end everyone lost.

Incidentally, Mike needed to debate RSA. It was unfortunate that he did it before I got to him, as I was going to systematically destroy DarkStar's website, but it was hardly a disaster, and I did crush a few of his pages into dust, but Mike needed to debate him specifically because DarkStar actually was hurting the quality of discussion on the board.

Forcing DarkStar to concede was not a reasonable objective for the debate. He proved time and again how he would NEVER concede a single point during his tenure at SD.net, and I think Mike knew full well that he was not going to force a concession. The best Mike could ever hope for would be to crush his points, which he did easily.

Indeed. If you look at Phil Skayhan's pages, Darkstar brags that he obliterated one discussion group once by basically spamming it to death until he drove everyone away. In his own words, "I was quite the robot".
