Darkstar's so called "Rebuttal" of MoO
His rebuttal is the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. All he basicaly does is restate his website, providing no new evidence or arguments. To rebute something one has to prove the other side wrong, Darkstar fails to do that at all. He provides no evidence whatsoever. Also his treating is this as "The Battle of Britian" shames not only the people who died during the real one in WW2, but also proves that he has a severe metal disorder. One last thing he tries to make people believe that he talked to people in Kosovo and Yuguslovia when we bombed them and that it was his e-mail to a congressman that started a legal movement to stop it. Talk about pulling things out of his ass.

He really is fucked in the head. His attempt to call this "The Battle of Britain" was bizarre (and in some ways, downright offensive), and I didn't know about this Yugoslavia thing. His inflated sense of self-importance is quite disturbing. He is such a completely one-dimensional person; in all his time here, he never posted anything that did not relate to Star Wars vs Star Trek. EVER. What does that tell you about the guy?

Wow, I thought I was just exagerating, but I just did a post search, and that was literally correct. Over several months and hundreds of posts, he never once posted in OSF, SLAM, or even OT. Every single post had to do with Star Wars vs Star Trek.
I could see that if a guy only had a few dozen posts, but to be on a webboard for months with hundreds and hundreds of posts and never once talk about anything but this soul-consuming obsession is really very disturbing in my opinion.

New information about his twisted mind aren’t even eyebrow raising anymore.Fuckstar wrote: G2k 1-7-03
(Note: Some might object to my intentionally-humorous use of war terminology in response to what professes to be a rebuttal to my arguments. Indeed, Wong and company utterly missed (or conceitedly ignored) the whole "Dark Ages" and "light of perverted science" jabs, instead suggesting that I was in a fit of rage. Now, make no mistake . . . Wong and his fellows are not interested in my arguments, the facts presented, or logic used to arrive at the conclusions. Theirs is a vendetta of the vanquished, and I am poking fun at them accordingly. As Ossus states in the Epilogue, the pages have a "goal of crippling Anderson's credibility". That's hardly the statement of someone interested only in facts and reason . . . but it is on the basis of those that I will repulse their attack.)

Isn't this the (now famous) Darkstar Method (TM)?Sr.mal wrote: All he basicaly does is restate his website, providing no new evidence or arguments. To rebute something one has to prove the other side wrong, Darkstar fails to do that at all. He provides no evidence whatsoever.
I could only read the first paragraph after the Curchill speech, and even that I skipped... Totally out of ontext.

Well, it's not necessarily as bad as you make it out to be. I never post in most of the other forums here either, but that's because I post all that OT and joke stuff at another place. I come here for the debate. If I want to just shoot the shit, I go back to my friends at PvP or in IRC.Darth Wong wrote:Wow, I thought I was just exagerating, but I just did a post search, and that was literally correct. You have 19 posts in OT, 13 posts in SLAM, and more than 200 posts in OSF. Darkstar, on the other hand, had 0, 0, and 0. As I said, disturbingly one-dimensional.Ender wrote:Well, it's not necessarily as bad as you make it out to be. Well the last time he was still Guardian 2K he went on about being the true love of this movie star pursued by evil forces.
I thought it was just Chuck being Sarcastic when I heard it, now I figure he's been long gone from reality for a long time.

Hey guys, consider this. Most of DS's anti-SW "arguments" come out of his insistance that the EU is a "parallel universe" like the ones in ST right? He then uses this assertion to insist that any pure EU tech can be thrown out.
Consider this. Every parallel universe we've ever seen in Trek, all the various factions still have the exact same technology. Wouldn't that mean that the EU tech is still legit? Even IF we grant DS every one of his assumptions about the EU, the tech still gets included.

The only reason why Dorkstar is trying desperately to toss out the EU is for a very simple reason, the EU provides hard numbers as to weapons and shield strengths in SW, (ICS) for Trek its the silver bullet for ANY argument re: vs. Just whip out 200 gigatons and the Hudson line from aliens can be repeated by Trekkies all over: "game over, man...game over."
By getting rid of those hard numbers you introduce ambiguities re: firepower and Dorkstar can bend fact all around to suit his needs then. ST is stuck, IF they use the TM they are pathetically weak, if they use on screen evidence vs. EU they are still pathetically weak. Throw out the EU, well now we can debate back and forth until the cows come home.
Its what he wants: to muddy the waters.

As I said before, RSA doesn't recognize that the lavish victory dance is something you do AFTER the touchdown. If you do the lavish victory dance and hope people will confuse it for a touchdown, you will only make yourself look foolish.
