Wong vs Brannon & Braga

Post by SCVN 2812 »

Who do hardcore Trekkies/Trekkers hate more? I personally would lean towards B & B because they are likely to be more widely known...

I was thinking of Rick Berman. Somewhat off-topic, I always had a vision of Wong holding a .45 with a caption "The Bermanator." But then I resumed my medication.

Well for the ones that do hate Darth Wong, I believe they hate B&B more because they are the ones who gave Mike Wong the material he needed.

When I saw this thread's title, I immediatly had this vision:

Darth Wong, backed up by hordes of fat Stormtroopers, bloated Sith lords, and well over twenty Darth Vadors, standing, with blasters and lightsabers drawn in front of B & B. Just as Wong calls for the charge, Berman and Braga get vaped by phaser fire. They look and seen hordes of Vulcans, Klingons, and Romulans holding disrupers, bat`leths and phasers. The head Vulcan says in a calm voice. "They fucked with contiunty."

I hate which ever one of them gave us Voyager.

Mr Bean: hmm I can think of more annoying things.

Star trek isnt the only franchise with things best kept hidden.

GL doesnt agree however I heard Jar jar is going to be in episode 4 aswell - will that man never learn?

Having seen Episode 4, I can conclude that however whiny Luke may be, he is not Jar-Jar.

And, I know this will shock you, Darkling, as you assume your opinion is fact, but some people tolerated, enjoyed, or just plain were indifferent to Jar-Jar.

I thought it was funny. He's the requisite 'Too stupid to die' character, just like poor 3P0 was in the originals.

Im sure some people did like Jar jar but the general opinion seems to be that the film would have been better without him.

Did he ruin the film? no I dont think so

SirNitram: 1.lol - I meant the new super duper ultra remastered dvd versions . 2.No I dont, im just conveying what he general response to that news was.

Mr Bean: I was mainly indifferent aswell accept when he started falling all over the place and actually scoring hits because of it.

SirNitram: Just opinion here but I think the new trilogy has been missing two things. 1.Han solo character. 2.C3PO (yes we did see him) but that "this is such a drag" line was no where near as funny as when he interupts Han and Leia kissing and Han says "Thank you, thank very much" in an annoyed voice and 3PO non the wiser says "you quite welcome sir".
That almost cracks me up as much as seeing Yoda fighting R2 for the torch.

Im british forgive my perculiar sense of humour.

Most Trekkies probably hate Wong More (assuming they know he exists). Vs. Debaters probably hate B&B more because they can't win with the moron twins in charge. Scary thought, If somebody like, say, David Drake or Weber were writing the Star Trek episodes the situation would be completely reversed and runabouts would be able to take on Star Destroyers.

OK. This is a topic for the Off-Topic board, post these kinds of messages here so I don't have to listen to your dribble SCVN. Can a mod move it?

Hey, you see Boba Fett in it, for the very first time ever!
And you see Imperator Class Star Destroyers.
Ok, the scenes were taken form the movies, but... Oh well.

The main part of the show is worse than voyager - wookies just roaring and the ocassional human comedy sketch that just falls flat.

It was almost like someone shoving a hot poker into my brain apart from the fact it lasted about 90 mins, the cartoon was ok though.
