Darth Vader, you stand accused of charges including but not limited to: Treason, murder of Jawa scavengers and execution of surrendered POWs.

Also should we add murder of Imperial officers and crew? The whole TESB asteroid scene smacks of wanton disregard of human life.

As chief prosecuter it is my duty to state the purpose of this trial. To start I intend to prove the the defendent, Darth Vader, is guilty of High Treason, Murder, and Consirioucy to overthrow the Emperor. I intend to demand the if found guilty the defendent recieve the death penalty.

To ensure that the Defendant cannot use the force to influence the witnesses or the jury int this case i request the Ysalimari be placed in the courtroom hanging from the ceiling and placed near the jury box and next to witness stand.

Right! Therefor, I demand that the charge of treason be dropped. In order to convict one of treason, there must be two witnesses.

The defense claims that the defendent allegedly lifted the late Emperor Palpatine into the air and allegedly hurled him down the reactor shaft, where he allegedly died. Key word, 'allegedly'.

However, there are no witnesses to this scene! Somehow, the late Palpatine expired, under mysterious circumstances. My client cannot be made to testify against himself. The only other witness, one Luke Skywalker, should be barred from testifing because of extinuating circumstances; namely, possible mental instability, trauma, and blood relations to the accused.

Your Honor, if you would care to recall, the Death Star was utterly destroyed during the engagement at Endor! Rebel and Imperial propaganda films must be discarded, and no other legitimate record could have survived that explosion. Therefor, any recording must be fabricated.

Furthermore, the law clearly states the need for two witnesses! Without those, the prosecution cannot pursue the charge of treason.

I would like to know what evidence the prosecution has for the charge of murdering Jawa's? According to the reports we have, a Sand Crawler was found destroyed and all the Jawa's killed, but the only evidence at the scene was Bantha tracks. Bantha's are ridden by Tusken Raiders, who are well known for there violent behavior.

I request this charge be dismissed immediately

Your Honor we have been through this before the Prosecution has provided evidance that all SW ships and instliations are equiped with devices to jetson the last two hours of log and holo data in event of disator and to do so automaticly opon descturion of the vessel. We have three diffrent devices from diffrent parts of the Death-Star that carry an identical verison of the recording I belive the prosecution has already made its point on the matter. We have already address this when trying to get the personal jorunal of Mr Vadar and the Emperor's personal log in the hours leading up to his death.

Your honor this record has been verfied by both sides in this trial as accurant, Infact it was even broad-cast to all ships present and some even relayed it even further opon the descrution of the station

Objection overruled. This is not a US court. Luke Skywalker's memories of the event have been officialy verified by a Jedi as true.

Futhermore, we have found records of the event that survived the explosion. If they were indeed "Imperial Propaganda" it is highly unlikely they would frame Darth Vader.

And the defense is to refraim from objections until the charges have been formally given.
