I'm just wondering what will happen once the DarkStar\Wong debate is over. DarkStar doesn't strike be as being the one to admit defeat.

Also, I must compliment Wong on his restraint so far. If it had been me I would have flamed Dorkstar until his hair caught fire!

In my experience it is impossible to convince him that you are winning. I posted that challenge of mine on three different threads, and I have not received even ONE private message telling me that DarkStar had created reasonable doubt in my arguments against him. Yet STILL he thought that he was winning the debate! He will refuse to acknowlege how badly Mike is kicking his ass and (perhaps) then say that he won in part because Mike swore at him.

God DAMN those people are stupid. Some of those sites seriously just remind me that half of the population has an IQ below 100. I also love how they assume that everything in ST fulfills the exact roles and has the same abilities that similarly classed ships in SW fulfill. That is such a horrible argument, yet they still believe it! It's ludicrous! They have no concept of what an intelligent debate is about.

I'm guessing DarkStar would run away, be inactive for a few months, then come back under a different usename, but with the same arguments. The three R's of Trekkie debating: Reduce your argument to something that has been refuted, reuse it over and over, and then, when everyone is sick of you, recycle the argument.
