Borg assimilation only gives you the know-how if the assimilated being has the knowledge in question in the first place. Tell them to prove that a stormtrooper or
any imperial officer for that matter knows how to build a Death Star. Furthermore ask them where the borg would get the resources to build a Death Star that has a volume equivalent to millions of cubes.
