A bump in the dark

Post by harbringer »

Ok just for something different a small ST fleet turn up in Imperial space to whit : 1 galaxy 1 of the same class BUT NOT the enterprise soveriegn I think 2 birds of prey and 4 defients.

Ok the fleet traversed an unusual transwarp conduit (for whatever reason you want ;) ) and part way through ended up thrown into the SW universe. The fleet commander is on board the soveriegn?? and is starfleet. What happens now?.

They will try to find a way back home, ask around a bit, make contacts with other planets... and after a few days they probably get raided by some pirates :P

A small insignificant pirate group find them, capture them, and make a fortune using the holodeck as a brothel :)

I would imagine that they are assumed to be an armed civilian craft rather than a true military vessel, and they quietly blend into the local culture.

Unless the Captain is Janeway, in which case she will almost immediately find the most powerful Imperial warlord in the area and infuriate him somehow, thus causing her ship to undergo a rapid solid-to-vapour phase-change.

Ok the fleet manage to make it to a system without being attacked by pirates or dying of old age. The gambling debt is paid off by a holosuite ;) and Bobba Fett IG-88 get interested. The local governor is horrified by a broadcast sent from the galaxy denouncing Imperial policy :)

What now?? would the rebellion get involved??

Given their power levels that have?

No.

In fact doing what they are doing is asking for an ISD to come in and whomp them.

the galaxy is in orbit I think they can manage a signal :)

But it is very ST for this sort of thing to happen, I am asking as to whether the "character sheilding" would make the rebels help :) I threw in the two bounty hunters as a point of interest after all someone is going to mention Boba with my help and how slave 1 would carve them up :). Would the rebellion just want to tweak the governors nose??

For what? To gain an alliance with a ship which has less shielding than Queen Amidala's personal yacht? And which is broadcasting a subspace signal that won't even reach the next inhabited system, given the great dispersion of the SW civilization? The only people picking up this pirate broadcast will be the people on the planet's surface, who will probably arrest them for violating some kind of broadcast regulation.

As always good point's but I had to pose some questions over what could happen and after all I don't imagine ALL the people listening to the broadcast will disagree with it or the rebellion wouldn't exist. What is stopping someone telling the rebellion about it??. And yes Star trek ships are not impressive but I wondered what the crews could achieve. Yes this is a big ask from ships and crews that are very suspect in what they do to succeed, but it is a reversal of what normally happens ;) - ie. ISD turns up flogs fleet after fleet till it runs out of consumables/gets re-enforced. So what is the least (apart from vapourising) that ST crews and ships could accomplish?. Would anything in the SW universe actually be affected find use for these people? what if they were re-enforced? what is the minimum required for ST to have ANY affect in the SW universe ??. And Darth Wong how do you get a certificate to make pirate broadcasts in the Empire ??? lmao  can I get one??.
