"48 Type-5 turbolaser cannons (2 kilowatts) "

A turbo laser is equal to 20 lightbulbs??? They could at least *TRY* to make a reasonable underestimate. gheesh.

Mighty precise number for a guesstimate. ::reads further:: WTF? Where, how do these numbers come from, especially fleet strength? Nevermind - I don't want to know...

Well, he would only be able to be more precise if he also noted fractions of ships... why not 129,464 ships then? :D

Half of his units aren't even real SI units. come on it would look more legit if he took the time to use real units.

also his E-E is way too big and it even contridics cannon statements on its size.

Well, using rabid Trekkie mentality, those must be extremely 'efficient' 400 watts, while Feds use extremely wasteful bajillions...

also the E-E is way too big and doesn't even match on screen quote to the ship's size.

Considering how much of a big deal they made about Warp 10 as a threshold in the shows, how stupid would you have to be to say that a ship can go Warp 24 or even Warp 15.

"...as the show's writers do not really understand how 24th Century technology works" Yet this moron thinks he does.

I mailed him once about the figures he gave for SW and kindly pointed out that how the hell he thinks that 4GW is enough to blow up a planet. Or how the E-E is stated in his site to be over 20 times longer than it is specifically mentioned to be in ST:FC. He replied by avoiding my questions.

This guy really gotta have some brain damage, it is not possible that someone in full mental health could come up with something like this.

I doubt that he is joking, the Tech Commentaries pages have a lot of stuf on them altough they are full bullshit it still takes time to do all that, he must seriously belive in those figures, atleast he honestly tried to base them to me when i maled him.

He stole the Ex Astris Scientia images and didn't even look at the dimensions that went with them.

I am not even WILLING to look at the site... I'm just enough Trekkie to know how wrong a lot of that information is. First off, it's impossible to go faster than warp 10, because at Warp 10, you occupy all points in the universe at once, in other words have infinite speed, in other words YOU CANNOT GO THAT FAST DAMMIT. Second, the Enterprise-E Is WAY less then one kilometer long, let alone 16. And various other things.

And for whoever asked, a Cochrane, named for the man who invented warp drive, is a unit used to measure warp field intensity.
Horza sat down on his haunches, hands closed round the run barrel in front of him, eyes staring out at the distant jungle. What a mess, he thought, what a fucking, obscene, stupid mess. He hadn't been thinking of what Gow had just done to herself, but he looked round at the red stain on the angled wall and the collapsed shape of Gow's suit, and thought it again.

Well, B&B even misinterpreted the concept of infinite speed. Infinite speed means that it's impossible to go faster, but you won't occupy every point in the universe at once.

Still, your point stands. Unless the Federation recalibrated their warp scale and I wasn't told about it, there's no way that there could be Warp 24.

I wrote to him a few months ago:
Hello Mr. Lee,

Please tell me your site is a joke right? Do you
honestly believe the bullshit there? I'd like to know
where you got your numbers for Star Trek. No matter
how laughable your methods were for Star Wars (scaling
14" guns to a pistol? WTF?), it really hurts my brain
to wonder how you got your numbers for Star Trek.

First, a Sovereign Class is 16,764m long? You do
realize that means it's 16.8 kilometers long right? If
you wield Star Trek First Contact's showing of the
Falcon as proof of ST/SW crossover, I wield Picard's
dialogue with equal (more actually) authority when he
said the Enterprise had 20-something decks, and was
600-something meters long.

Second, the Federation Fleet has 427424 starships
while the Dominion has 5993? So... why the hell was
the Dominion such a threat? That means for the UFP and
the Dominion to be equal powers a Dominion ship would
have to equal 71 UFP ships?

Third, your Star Wars profiles are "to scale"? Please
explain why an Imperial Star Cruiser (whatever the
hell that is) is the same size as an Imperial Star
Destroyer but by your own specs, the cruiser is 670m
long while the destroyer is over 2.5 times longer at
1600m.

Forth, so now, according to you, a 400GW laser is
capable of violenty blasting a planet apart? Now
Alderraan was destroyed in about 7/15s of a second.
I'll be generous and give you 1 whole second, meaning
400GJ was imparted on Alderraan. I hope you realize
that the Hiroshima bomb (15kT) released 6.3E13 J or
630 Terajoules of energy; 157.5 times more energy that
the Alderraan blast. Did we have the Earth blow up
then? [NOTE: Yes, I realize I made a calculation error in here; it was late, so sue me]

Christ, my brain's gonna be hurting for weeks after
reading your site. It's not because of the "science"
on it; it's because it beggars the imagination how
someone can be so incredibly biased (or just plain
stupid).

Have fun living in your little dream world. If you
ever decide to get your head out of your ass, here are
two message boards you might want to share your sites
with: http://www.stardestroyer.net/phpBB2/index.php
and http://kier.3dfrontier.com/forums/ .

Later,
No reply. I thought of being polite but then instinct took over....
