Quite possibly the smartest living thing on the Enterprise-D, versus the smartest thing on the Enterprise-Fake.

I got my money on the cat. I have a little dog like Porthos, and my cat pimps him out.

Oh, that would so not be fair! Ein is five million times smarter than that cat could EVER think of being.

And Porthos would kick that cat's ass. I have a beagle. He'd think the cat was a plaything.

actually the fight may go like this Porthos sees Spot runs up and sniffs it.Spot lazilly opens its eyes and looks at Porthoslike"go away you idiot I`m taking a nap" Porthos ypis playfullly as Spoit still lays there sleepily it then decides to stretch and goive Porthos his full attention then Porthos may chase Spot around till Spot pops him on the nose with a forepaw

I voted for spot, but the fights going to destabilizes the warp core and blow up the ship. A cosmic space cow will then eat the debris.

It would end with Spot scratching Porthos's nose and him crying and whining, then the cat would be scolded for being so mean while the dog will be comforted and cured from his battle wounds.

So I'd say Porthos wins.

Porthos is the coolest part of Enterprise and the smartest (OTOH that's not saying much) and has his own character shields.

Spot is the Transexual/Lizard cat. And the most intelligent part of the E-D.

But Spot is magical. He/she can phase through walls. Remember how Spot is able to always get loose even though the doors shouldn't open for a cat.

And Porthos is just too damn cute to put up a fight.

That and Archer is constantly feeding him things that are bad for him. I once had a friend whose dog was incredibly fat, and she justified it by explaining that she only fed it low-fat ice cream. Porthos is just a few steps above that dog. I don't know how he lives on a ship with nothing to do. And when he goes on walks, does Archer have to clean the carpet after him?
