You have to fill the following slots onboard a brand new transdimensional starship... You can take people from ANY sci-fi universe (within reason). Who do you take? Assume that the mission is exploration of an unknown area of space, assume also that equal parts combat and diplomacy are likely.

Captain:

2i/c:

Security/Tactical:

Navigation:

Engineer:

Helmsman:

Communication:

Doctor:

Diplomat:

Cook:

Also, include a shipname... It can be your favourite or just something that suits the crew.

Side note: I am NOT a Trekkie. I depsise Trek in almost all of its forms. I would much rather add some Warsie things in here, but am not too broad in the Sci-fi field...

Ship name: USS Chaos. ;)
Cpt: Thrawn. No other.
2i/c: Ender. Strangely enough.
Sec/Tact: Worf.
Nav: Bean from Ender's Game.
Eng: Scotty and/or Data.
Helm: Chewy and/or Geordi.
Comm: C-3P0, who else?
Doctor: Ender's wife's parents.
Diplomat: Padme Amidala and/or Peter and Valentine from Ender's Game.
Cook: Ender's Wife.

PS: If anyone, ANYONE, says Jar-Jar for ANY of these, I will PERSONALLY hunt you down and KILL you. Even if you said it in jest.

I see and that whole "Ruler of the Hegomny" for sixty years was just a fluke?(Remer Valentine was gone before he was twenty and he ruled until his death)

True, but he wouldn't have gotten to that point unless he posed as a Valentine-like character, as Locke. Valentine, in turn, was Demosthenes, much like Peter. You have to remember that it was the team that got him to where he was, not him by himself....eventually Valentine did drop out, yes, but she was still vital in his making it to the Hegemon.

She was vital in building up Demosthenes and Locke true, however when did things acutal start happing for Locke? AFTER Demosthenes was off the planet and gone, It was months after Valentine left that Locke was elected to the Post of Hegmoney after HE came public and overthrew the rest of the world with the help of Bean NOT with Valentine, and Bean's strong point was military NOT Diplomacy though he was not terrible at it THAT was Peter's Field and do you honsetly think that the Sixty Years Peter ruled by himself where just a Fluke? Just Concidence? Was it perfect sailing on a Glass lake?

Honsetly Verilon know anyone who can rule for sixty years and go out beloved by the people?

No....and to make it to Locke in the first place was what he had to do to make it to Hegemon, correct? ;) And I still have yet to read past Xenocide, so no too many spoilers, k?

Demothese and Locke served one simple purpose

Speed up the Proccess, Not enable it or make it possible simply speed it up
Remeber they created thos identiys so people would start listening to Val and Peter NOW so to speak at the tender age of twelve and nine they where being listened to the world over and that was simple not possible otherwise without the net identies, Also remeber agian that was PETERS idea, HIS idea for Demothesis HIS idea for how Demothese would act and sound, it was mearly Val's job to play the part he said as much he can't play two parts at what, Why? TIME not he could not just a simple time issue(They where spending 6-14 hours per Day on just one Identiy I can understand why he did not want to do two by himself)

Or another words
Which matters more... The Tool or the Weilder?

Captain: John Sheridan
Excellent tactical, strategic, and diplomatic skills.

1st Officer: Susan Ivanova
Good tactical skills, lots of attitude, and already works well with the Captain.

Security/Tactical: An'Lashok Lennier
Lennier had sneaky-bastard down to a science.

Navigation: Data
Basically, I couldn't think of anyone much better for the job. There are numerous other reasons he could be useful to have around, of course.

Engineer: R2-D2
Provided with all the maintenance data required for the ship and refitted with the appropriate tool set, of course.

Helmsman: Anakin Skywalker (circa Ep2)
Outstanding piloting skills PLUS the Force, and definitely handy to have on the bridge in the event unexpected hostiles teleport on board.

Communication: C-3PO
Already knows over 6 million languages. A bit flighty, but consistently performs in a pinch.

Doctor: Stephen Franklin, assuming he's clean and sober.

Diplomat: Lyta Alexander
The actual diplomatic skills are already covered in numerous ways, but I like the ability to know what the person across the table is thinking. Like several other choices, putting Lyta in this slot is as much an excuse to get her into the crew as anything. Just drop any anti-Teep sentiment and she should be fine (that means a lecture for John before the mission starts, of course).

Cook: Michael Garibaldi
OK, I like Italian food. Never hurts to have a backup security guru, either.
