And the Tragicomedy continues

Post by Stravo »

The tragicomedy that is the B&B Star Trek franchise continues the downward spiral into the burning pits of hell. Wanted to laugh could only shake my head....

Heheh... remember kiddies, if Archer lays eyes upon a Romulan then the whole Trekkie world will be up in arms against B&B

Of course that won't happen, you know how big continuity is with this series. B&B said themselves the plotline will be "airtight," just like the first season was.

Have some faith, I mean look at what a good job they did with DS9 and Voyager.

Fans worried this development might play havoc with established Star Trek canon need not be worried. "We've been very careful," Braga said. "The continuity is airtight. Believe me. We know. We know."

Damn him. I cannot believe he is still making ST. They should have fired him long ago, and certainly Enterprise is the worst ST series in the history of the universe.

That bugs me too. Enterprise would have been much better with lasers and nukes and the Daedelus. But nooo, their ship designers had to rip off the Akira and then bring up examples of RL tech mimicing old tech instead of just confessing that they have no sense of continuity or creativity.

And their continuity SUCKS. I seriously cannot believe how terrible they are. Did they even WATCH TOS before they started writing Enterprise?

It truly is sad what has happened to this wonderful franchise. B&B have ritually slaughtered it. It burns me up inside to think that these idiots have done what they have, its almost as if they have intentionally tried their best to ruin it. Every idea a wrong turn, every series another rasping cough from the dying corpse that is ST. UGH :(

Maybe when Nemesis bombs the Trekkies will have had enough and lynch B&B. :D :D

Need I point out the Daedalus is a FEDERATION design, not an Earth design and there is no solid date when the Daedalus-class starships entered service except that it was around the same time as the founding of the Federation.

As for nukes, we don't know that the NX-class's torpedos aren't nuclear weapons, they sure as hell look like mini-icbms. Now those phase cannons and kitbashing the Akira, now that's unforgivable.

If those were the ONLY things wrong with Enterprise, I might still be watching it. As it is, I saw about one and a half episodes (if you add them all together) and then quit. It has little or nothing to do with any of the other series.

Monkeys would not violate continuity with every five minutes of film.

Um, humans were one of the founding races in the Federation. If I remember my TOS, the 5 founding races were humans, Vulcans, Andorians, Orions, and another that slipped my mind.

Tellarites.

And the Orions weren't one of the founding races, but the Alpha Centaurians were.
