Is it possible for Bush to alienate the Vietnam Vets more?

Post by The Yosemite Bear »

yes, I just got another VFW emailing, seems that aside from the swifties, Bush's actions, mud smearing of McCain and Kerry's Records, cutting military benefits, and sending their kids off to fight in Iraq, Bush has alienated most of the Veitnam vets something bad.

is there anything he could say to like truely, totally piss them off at this point?

<ok, aside from signing in a blanket Presidential Clemency/Pardon for all involved with Agent Orange>

Think an elite American Legion.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Veterans of Foreign Wars.
You have to have served in a combat zone to qualify for membership.

(They had to let us Desert Stormers in, because they let in Vietnam vets. )
