That was a reading comprehension error, nevermind it.

But you can bet your ass that all or most fundies are Republicans. The Republican party sampling would invariably include at least some fundamentalist Christian Republicans.
Don't forget Pat Buchanan and the likes of him. They have decided to remove the republican label from themselves. It's pretty bad when even the republicans aren't fundie enough for you.
In Buchanan's case it's actually because he disagreed with the military-adventurist track the current GOP has taken (remember, Buchanan is a strict isolationist). A broken clock is right twice a day, even if for the wrong reason.

Well, the ratings come from the Christian Coalition; TW just repeats the info. The state committee info originally comes from "The Christian Statesman," a magazine published by the National Reform Association, whose mission is to "maintain and promote in our national life the Christian principles of civil government." They're Christian Reconstructionists.

I know of several fundies who are tossing the Republican Party out on it's ass because Bush dares to not just order mosques burned to the ground or some such, and are going Constitution Party. *Shrug* Dunno how many will eventually end up doing something similar, but it seems a slowly growing trend.
It's Rogue, not Rouge!
