Seriosly, IP, in a lot of recent threads you disagree with, you go immediately for the snide, ornery, most-likely-to-flamebait tone you can.

Are having fucking menopause or something? Have you always been this way and I never noticed?

Well, now this is the subject at hand.
I know this board isn't exactly run by Roberts Rules of Order and all that crap, and at the risk of being dogpiled for pointing out what is essentially a "style over substance" argument, I just want to ask that if anyone, not just IP but anyone is having a Bad Hair Day, PMS, a bad day/week, too-tight a-panties, or a fight with the SO... whatever, take it out in a Venting thread or buy a punching bag or something.
It's one thing to ask for prissy-ass behavior in a debate, or to whine about meanness while evading a point in an argument-- that's not what I mean. If someone has earned a good smackdown, let them have it.
But don't just launch right out from the start with flamebait. There should, I feel, but some minor accord given to basic respect for others here before going into bitchiness. If it's getting that bad for you on the 'net, or this board, and tempers are hot, then relax. Take a day off. The board won't implode if you decide to sit it out for a day.
