The comic is such a joke, look at it. The fact that they mocked the fact that they would never have to improve because all the competition is dead, that was the final nail in the coffin for any believability.

Oh as for the topic. Yes, because Tycho going into detail on a variety of chats and whatnot about EA's bullshit, and hell them making quite a few comics, they themselves turn into the elitist corporate shills they despise.

Penny Arcade, working out exclusivity deals with (the admittedly dwindling number of) videogame publishers? Are you guys out of your minds?

It may come as a shock to the more rational members of the readership, but we've actually been buried in hate mail today for our quote exclusivity deal unquote. Put aside the fact that such an arrangement would be nearly impossible, not to mention probably illegal.

Do you really think that we would do it? Could do it? I wrote the introduction to Absath's book for Christ sake. I'm a regular Goddamn tyrant.

I can't believe people actually took this seriously...

So? Thats the web. A good portion of the btech community believed The Company Store Syndrome when it said FASA went bankrupt, to the extent that FASA believed it themselves and sued the website author.
