kill people. blow shit up. ask your usmc recruiter.
Typically, though, recruiters mention the "see the world" and "paid-for college tuition" more than the "harrowing firefights" and "brutal combat."
marine recruiters, sweetie. every one of them told me I was signing up to kill motherfuckers.
This day is Fantastic!

"I really hate it when the guy you were pegging as Mr. Worst Case starts saying, "Oh, I was wrong, it's going to be much worse." " - Adrian Laguna
I remember the first thing my recruiter told me "If you just want the college money, Air Force is down the hall."
Trust me, the Marines are a whole different barrel of fish compared to any other service. From day one I was told that my reason for being, well for being paid anyways was because Uncle Sam sometimes needed to have someone killed. Most of the times it's bad people we're shooting and we do find it a bit enjoyable to know that the guy we had to kill was a stain on humanity anyways.
Sometimes the guys we shoot aren't all that bad and it's a damn shame it came to killing. Doesn't mean we don't shoot them though, just means we're not so happy we had to.
So yeah, if the people you end up having to kill are actually assholes, shit stains, you might has well take some satification from it.
General Mattis thinks killing domestic abusers is satisfying. CAIR apparantly finds that appalling. Any thoughts?
I find it more appalling that they're worried about defending some wife-beating, misogynist assholes who's idea of progress is the Dark Ages with an AK-47. Does anyone see the hideous irony in that?
