If he'd been killed by something he was intentionally fucking with, I'd be inclined to agree that he deserves a Darwin. As it is, I'm having a hard time seeing it as viable since it really was just a freak accident.
I am pretty sure that, barring his reproduction, his lifestyle qualified him for a Darwin.

And it's a tragedy. He deserves the meme posthumously, like some guys get the Medal of Honor or the Victoria Cross. Because what they did was so awesome it got them killed.

Maybe it was for the irony of the thing, the man spends decades deliberately wrestling huge, dangerous reptiles into submission and eventually gets killed by a stingray, an animal which is usually pretty innoffensive, by chance.

Batman: What do these guys want anyway?
Superman: Take over the world... Or rob banks, I'm not sure.

I dont think it was chance... I think he was messing with it and pissed it off, but I have no way to prove it.

The entire thing was caught on film, which was turned into the police. He had accidentally boxed it in without realizing it, which caused the stingray's defenses to hackle and stab him right in the chest with its barb.

I dunno.
Norris may be old hat now, but he was a genuine martial arts champion who founded his own form 'Chun Kuk Do', and who was a genuine 'bankable star' for years.

He's past his prime, but in the past he was 'hot shit'.
