<sigh> Yes, that phrasing would be more accurate. But it doesn't really imply what you're thinking unless you completely divorce it from the paragraph it's a part of... which is exactly what I told ball-licker earlier.darthbob88 wrote:What I object to about that phrase, after thinking about it, is that it is misleading. It implies, or so I read it to imply, that a company which is 100% women and minorities would enjoy super profits, when this is clearly illogical. A more accurate phrasing would be "A company which employs a proportion of women and minorities representative of the candidate pool, evident of colorblind hiring policies, would enjoy greater profits than ones which hire fewer women and minorities." This should be more accurate, and less controversial.

No argument there. I'm getting riled up over nothing. Point conceded, again.Turin wrote:<sigh> Yes, that phrasing would be more accurate. Others seemed to be riled up over my opinion. That one quote just rubbed me the wrong way but in no way prove that I was against what was said. As I mentioned earlier, I agree with the overall article but disagree with the wording on one part. Getting riled up over it is ridiculous.darthbob88 wrote:<snip>No argument there.
