The Sharp article has at least one serious flaw (what appears to be a cultural swipe at the violence supposedly inherent in Cambodian culture in a passage just before Part V), but I don't see anywhere in your article, Elfdart, mention of Bruce Sharp or his "particular" argument, as you say.

I reiterate my earlier point. Chomsky bends over backwards to deal with the U.S. in a vacuum. This dangerously misrepresents history; at the very least, it robs agency from just about everyone besides the United States.
