This is fucking RETARDED. We need to buy their oil more than they need to sell it to use. That's why the price is going up. How are we going to back this up? Refuse to buy it out of spite. Why don't people get that you cannot just revoke the laws of economics when you feel like it. This, like the arms sales bill, is fucking retarded pandering that is harmful to America. Let's just REDUCE reinvestment of our petrodollars in our own economy (i.e., make the balance of trade between us and oil-exporters even worse) in order spite OPEC, which we have NO CHOICE but to buy their oil? Are we fucking stupid?
