The WBC is fixated on homosexuality because it gains them attention. It wouldn't be inaccurate to view them as internet trolls in the real world.

They're also fixated on homosexuality because like the vast majority of fundies, they have some degree of sexual repression they're unable to cope with. So they feel a need to take it on anyone who's sexuality differs from theirs.
